MONTREAL — Taste of Montreal, a joint-initiative led by Tourisme Montréal and Taste Mtl, officially begins tomorrow, Nov. 1 and runs through Nov.11.
Almost 100 restaurateurs are participating in the city’s first restaurant week whereby customers will be offered special fixed-price menus for $19, $29 or $39.
“Taste Mtl provides an incredible opportunity for restaurateurs to ‘democratize’ their cuisine and share their passion. I hope that all get the chance to sample Montreal’s unique flavour during this inaugural edition,” said Jérôme Ferrer, chef of the Europea Group and a member of Tourisme Montréal’s Gastronomic Committee.
The 11-day event will be highlighted by various culinary events, including culinary tours, candle-lit dinners on Mount-Royal Avenue and a light installation by Odace Événements.
