TORONTO — Terroir Hospitality Symposium will be hosting its two-week virtual program from Nov. 7 to Nov. 17, 2021, bringing together a community of chefs, suppliers, restaurateurs and other industry leaders to discuss recovery and resiliency.
Attracting more than 1,000 attendees across more than 20 countries, Terroir Symposiums are designed to share ideas, resources and skills. This year’s program will offer 24 industry sessions, spotlight on Canadian food leaders, virtual cooking demos and more.
The 2021 program will feature a range of speakers, such as Amanda Cohen, chef at Dirty Candy; Bob Huitema, president of DistillX Beverages Inc.; Eden Hagos, founder of Black Foodie; and Joe Baker, educator and director at Tourism HR Canada. This year’s themes include: recipes for financial success; work-life balance and managing stress; diversity and equity in the workplace; managing career development in hospitality; restorative production and conscientious consumption and culture and gastrodiplomacy.
Symposium 2021 All-Access Passes are now available for purchase, and 10 per cent of all ticket revenues will go toward SaveHospitality.ca.
