Terroir Speaker Line-up Announced

TORONTO — David Chang, Daniel Boulud and Normand Laprise are set to take the stage May 12 at the Terroir Hospitality Symposium, the lineup of which was recently announced.

 

The annual foodservice and hospitality symposium will return to Toronto’s Arcadian Court this year, offering a day of presentations, panels and dishes prepared by local and international chefs.

The main event will feature a “Lucky Beef” talk by Peter Meehan (Lucky Peach) with David McMillan and Frédéric Morin, owners of Joe Beef in Montreal as well as a panel centered on creative culinary communities, featuring Rebecca LeHeup, executive director of the Ontario Culinary Tourism Alliance; Dimitrios Zarikos, regional VP and GM, The Four Seasons Hotel, Toronto; Anne-Marie Hovstadius, Visit Sweden and Helen McDaid, Fáilte Ireland.

And, American and Canadian tastes will collide at a special potluck lunch, featuring Toronto chefs Heather Mordue, L’unita; Alex Feswick, The Drake Hotel; and Lora Kirk, Ruby Watchco, with U.S. toques Sonja Finn, Dinette, Pittsburgh; Sarah Simmons, City Grit, New York City; and Kristen Kish, Menton, Boston.
