CALGARY — Terroir Symposium and the SAIT School of Hospitality and Tourism have announced Part II of the Terroir Series, a collaborative initiative to foster personal and professional growth within the culinary and hospitality sectors. The Symposium is set to take place on November 2 and 3 in the Hospitality House and John Ware Kitchen at SAIT School of Hospitality and Tourism in Calgary.
This year’s theme, Nourishing the Future, promises to spark innovation, foster connections and explore the cutting-edge of food and beverage. The program includes panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and exclusive wine and spirits tastings, all led by global figures in the industry.
This year’s Terroir Series will engage SAIT faculty, students and alumni in delivering a range of workshops, events and presentations. This collaboration not only offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience but also provides them with valuable networking connections within the industry.
“We’re proud to be partnering with Terroir Symposium once again and are looking forward to hosting another excellent series,” says Scott Pohorelic, associate Dean, Culinary Programs, SAIT. “Terroir is an opportunity for the hospitality industry to come together and be inspired by one another. It’s a unique educational experience for SAIT students to learn from industry experts as they share ideas and stories from a range of backgrounds and experiences.”
