TORONTO — The organizers of the previously announced Terroir Symposium are working with Samuel Adams as part of this year’s program, set to take place May 12.

Between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., guests will be educated on the importance of beer history with insights from the Boston Beer Company, brewers of Samuel Adams. Grant McCraken, head brewmaster, will offer insights into the craft beer segment, explaining how Samuel Adams has contributed to the evolution of the beer movement in the U.S., and Canada.

McCraken’s discussion will be complemented by a presentation by Mirella Amato, master cicerone and author of Beerology: Everything You Need to Know to Enjoy Beer… Even More. She will discuss hop growing in Ontario and provide beer tastings.

The Terroir Symposium will be held at Toronto’s Arcadian Court. For more details, visit terroirsymposium.com.
