TORONTO — Pizza Nova held its 19th annual That’s Amore Pizza for Kids day May 8, raising $118,602 for Variety Village.
During the one-day event, 140 Pizza Nova locations served medium pepperoni pizzas for only $4.39 plus tax and $1 from every pizza sold was donated to Variety Village.
Yesterday, Pizza Nova president Domenic Primucci presented Variety Village with the proceeds at a cheque-presentation ceremony. “That’s Amore Pizza for Kids wouldn’t be possible without the thousands of customers who came out on May 8 to help us make a difference in a child’s life,” says Primucci. “With the help of all our supporters, we have raised more than $1.5 million for Variety Village over the past 19 years.”
