The Chopped Leaf Reveals Plan for Canada-Wide Expansion

TORONTO — The Chopped Leaf is targeting Southern Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada for expansion.

With 100 units already committed to in Canada and the U.S., the brand has announced plans to open at least 20 additional locations through franchise partnerships and strategic development.

This news follows concentrated growth since January of this year, reinforcing the demand for fast, fresh experiences. Recent restaurant openings include:

  • Vernon, B.C. (January 21)
  • Calgary (Westman Village) (February 24)
  • West Kelowna, B.C. (March 16)
  • Cochrane, Alta. (March 5)
  • Tsawwassen, B.C. (March 12)
  • Medicine Hat, Alta. (April 4)
  • Ottawa (expected this month)

The Chopped Leaf’s development is led by Innovative Food Brands Inc., as well as Blair Stevens, founder and brand president of The Chopped Leaf.
