NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, Ont. — The Exchange Brewery received top marks for two of its signature beers at the 15th-annual Ontario Brewing Awards, winning gold and bronze for two of its signature beers.
Peppercorn Rye Saison won gold in the Farmhouse Blonde category, with the Grand Cru netting bronze in the Barrel-Aged Red Wine category.
“The brewing staff is extremely pleased to take home two awards for some of our favourite barrel-aged beers,” says Sam Maxbauer, head brewer, The Exchange Brewery. “We are also very proud to have our Peppercorn Rye Saison take home a gold because it really showcases the ethos of our brewery and our love of dry, funky saisons.”
