MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Casey’s Grill ● Bar is living up to its “food first” motto with the launch of a Gluten-Free Menu, Dessert Menu and Kids Menu.

“Over the last three decades Casey’s has earned a reputation for being the casual-dining destination of choice for Ontario families by consistently offering a range of fresh and premium menu items at great prices that satisfy the needs and tastes of guests of all ages,” says Grant Cobb, senior vice-president, Brand Management for Prime Restaurants, Casey’s parent company. “Casey’s carefully considered the needs and wishes of today’s family when it was developing the new menu options it is introducing today.”

The new Gluten-Free Menu includes a selection of guest favourites, including fiesta nachos, shrimp pad thai and a mini peanut butter brownie sundae. The new selection is already winning praise from the Canadian Celiac Association. “There are more than 250,000 Canadians living with Celiac disease and an additional million or more with gluten intolerance. Therefore it is important for casual-dining chains such as Casey’s to help lead the way and ensure all family members can enjoy a great meal while dining out,” said Jim McCarthy, executive director of the Canadian Celiac Association.

Next up, the new Kid’s Menu starts at $7 and includes meals such as tempura battered fish, penne pasta and Casey’s Kids Health Check grilled chicken breast strips. The penne pasta, cheese nachos and grilled chicken breast strips are also available as gluten-free options at Casey’s locations offering the new Gluten-Free Menu.

Finally, the new Dessert Menu includes cinnamon sugar donut holes, pecan pie, a mini-cheesecake trio and dessert nachos.

The Gluten-Free Menu is available at 14 Casey’s locations throughout Ontario, while the Kids and Dessert Menus are being offered across Ontario.
