TORONTO — Tim Hortons has launched its app’s new Scan & Pay feature, which allows Tims Rewards members to pay for charges, earn points and redeem rewards with a single scan for a limited time.
To use Scan & Pay, members must first link a credit card or Tim Card in the Tim Hortons app by tapping the Scan tab, adding a payment method, and then turning on the Scan & Pay button. Multiple payment methods can be securely stored in the app, and guests can easily toggle between their payment methods. All transactions made using Scan & Pay are secure and encrypted. Guests using Scan & Pay for the first time can earn 10 bonus Tims Rewards points.
