MONTREAL — Amid pressure from a father of two, Tim Hortons has announced plans to install diaper-changing tables in men’s bathrooms, according to CBC News.
The QSR chain made the announcement on August 6 after Chris Webb took to Twitter to express his displeasure with the lack of changing tables in men’s washrooms across the country.
His criticisms caught the attention of representatives at Tim Hortons who say that its remodeled restaurants will include change stations in men’s washrooms, which the company claims was already part of its Welcome Image layout.
This is not the first time the need for changing tables in men’s washrooms has made news this year. In January, a Calgary man called out his local Dairy Queen for its lack of options.
