TORONTO — Tim Hortons is launching a Nova Scotia community initiative this week to recycle used coffee cups and reduce demand for municipal landfills.
A number of Tim Hortons executives, including John Montgomery, senior VP of Atlantic Canada and Greg Smith, senior manager will be on hand at the launch.Dwight Whynot, president of Scotia Recycling Limited, Ian Anderson, president of CFK Inc and Gordon Helm, manager of Solid Waste Resources will join them.
The launch will be held Oct. 20 at Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Small Craft Gallery (Main Floor), 1675 Lower Water Street, Halifax.
