Toca Celebrates National Grilled Cheese Day with Month-long Special Menu

TORONTO —April 12 is National Grilled Cheese Day and Toca at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto is celebrating with a month-long special menu.

Inspired by the restaurant’s popular Cheese Cave, the menu will feature five cheesy options including Chef Gaba’s signature Toca sandwich with Wagyu skirt steak and 5th Town Capreggio cheese topped with either black truffle or caviar and built on house-made champagne bread.

Other choices on the April menu include Muffuletta with Provolone, Mortadella and Cappicolo on sour dough; a Caprese sandwich made with tomato pesto, heirloom tomatoes and Italian mozzarella; the Triple P with pepper-jack cheese, pepperoni and pickled peppers; and a short rib grilled cheese with Brie, caramelized onion and Cajun mayo.

Sandwiches are priced from $22 and include fresh-cut parmesan fries or salad.
