VANCOUVER — Top Table restaurants, the hospitality group that owns Vancouver and Whistler hotspots Araxi, Blue Water Café and Raw Bar, CinCin and West, have nabbed an impressive haul in the recently announced Vancouver Magazine 2010 Restaurant Awards.
A panel of 19 judges dolled out the kudos to British Columbia’s leaders in the restaurant scene at the Sheraton Wall Center on May 18.
Among Top Table’s top takes was Araxi winning gold for Best of Whistler; Blue Water Café and Raw bar taking home gold for Best Restaurant, Chef of the Year for its kitchen maestro, Frank Pabst, and another gold for Best Seafood; CinCin snagged a Best Last Course gold; and West was honoured with a Best Service gold.
Top Table proprietor Jack Evrensel said, “I would like to salute the excellence of all the winners, and the brilliance with which they represented our province to the world during this Olympic year. In particular, I would like to recognize our culinary and service teams at Top Table for their remarkable achievements during the last twelve months. To see all of our restaurants win Gold Awards speaks volumes to the dedication and hard work of every team member.”
