Toptable Group Announces New Whistler Restaurant


VANCOUVER — Toptable Group has revealed its new Whistler Village restaurant will be a dual-concept dining and meeting space called Bar Oso and The Cellar by Araxi.

“These exciting new spaces, beautifully created by Box Interior Design, are a great extension for Araxi Restaurant and our talented team,” said Michael Doyle, president of Toptable Group.

Bar Oso — named for the Spanish word for bear as an homage to Whistler’s wildlife — will offer Spanish-inspired small plates including Iberico ham, chilled seafood, house-made charcuterie and a wide range of tapas drawn from Araxi Restaurant executive chef James Walt’s international repertoire.

Located on the lower level, The Cellar by Araxi will offer private dining and meeting space. It will also boast feature wine walls, a dedicated wine room and a show kitchen for interactive chef demonstrations.

Development is currently underway with the opening scheduled for fall.
