TORONTO — Tour-Mate Systems Canada Ltd. has launched a new commercial-grade sanitation station to the North American marketplace.

The Tour-Mate UV-C Sani 1150 (Sani 1150), is available immediately and has been verified by the Fraunhofer Institute to have a 99.997-per-cent efficacy rating on live SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) contaminated surfaces through its three-minute cycle.

“The Sani 1150 is an effective tool that will help ensure that businesses like hotels, restaurants, hair salons and dispensing opticians can provide a safer environment and experience for their customers,” says Neil Poch, president, Tour-Mate Systems Canada.

The Sani 1150 utilizes UV-C technology to sanitize hand-held devices such as debit-credit machines, restaurant pager systems and other heavy-use items, including salt and pepper shakers, condiments bottles and remote controls.

The Sani 1150 boasts enough volume (1,150 cubic inches) to sanitize multiple items at once without reducing efficacy or efficiency. The product is also relatively portable, weighing less than 20 lbs and measuring 20.5 by 15.35 inches.

“It is our hope that this product will provide peace of mind to both business owners and consumers as the economy is safely reopened,” adds Poch.
