MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Mucho Burrito has expanded into the competitive Mexican-food segment of the U.S. market with two locations in Washington.
The new locations opened in partnership with Seattle-based Subway franchisees Feisal Ramjee and Roy Woolsey.
“Chipotle has been very successful in the fresh Mexican grill segment, but, in Washington, there are only 11 locations. Seeing the opportunity for growth for a fresh Mexican grill, for a great product, Mucho Burrito definitely fit that bill,” Ramjee said of the quick-service chain. At Mucho Burrito food is prepared “the old-fashioned way, [with] good-quality, fresh, healthy food.”
