MONTREAL — UberEats is launching in Montreal today. The new stand-alone app will allow Montrealers to order delivery from more than 100 local restaurants.

Uber announced plans to bring its UberEats platform to Montreal in January. With this latest launch, UberEats is now available in four Canadian cities, with the service already established in Toronto, Edmonton and Ottawa.

“By partnering with more than 100 local Montreal restaurants, we are proud to help Montrealers order food from their favourites restaurants — at the push of a button,” says Greg Perowne, Montreal UberEats Manager “Beyond great meals, UberEats creates new flexible economic opportunities for restaurant and delivery partners that will benefit the Montreal economy.”

Restaurant partners in Montreal range from local favourites to national brands, including L’Gros Luxe, Europea, Venice MTL and Uniburger.

“Innovation has always been at the heart of the Europea group’s philosophy,” says Jérôme Ferrer, CEO and executive chef of Europea Group. “With the UberEATS platform, Montrealers can now enjoy a gourmet meal in the comfort of their home. My kitchen can reach more people easily and quickly.”
