TORONTO — UP Express — Toronto’s express air-rail service that connects Union Station in downtown to the Toronto Pearson International Airport — is welcoming new foodservice concepts to Union Station.

The station, slated to open in May, will soon feature a new Balzac’s Coffee Roasters, offering fresh roasted coffee and pastries from La Bamboche, Dufflet and Cinq Foods, all based in Toronto. “Our mission is to transform the way people travel to and from the airport and how they experience what the province and the city have to offer,” said Kathy Haley, president of UP Express. “Interesting brands and artisanal retail partners like Balzac’s Coffee Roasters will surprise and delight our guests and showcase the best of Ontario.”

Meanwhile, a new Mill St. Brewery is slated to open inside UP Express’ CIBC UPstairs lounge, serving craft brews. “UP Express is a landmark addition to our city’s infrastructure and will be a great benefit to residents and visitors alike,” said Kevin Weitzman, VP at Mill Street. “We hope we can add to the positive experience for everyone stopping in to the CIBC UPstairs lounge by providing delicious craft beers that will fit the tastes of any beer drinker.”
