OTTAWA — Vancouver’s Cioppino’s Mediterranean Grill & Enoteca is the only recipient of a three-star top-rating in the 2016-2017 edition of the national restaurant guide Where to Eat in Canada.
Chosen from among 20 resturants, Cioppino’s is no stranger to awards. Chef/owner Giuseppe “Pino” Posterar was named Vancouver Magazine’s Chef of the Year in 2014 and won the title of Restaurant of the Year in 2009. Posterar was also a gold medal winner at the BC Gold Medal Plates in 2007.
The Where to Eat in Canada guide is in its 45th year and is published annually in June. There are approximately 500 restaurants in 200 cities, towns and villages included in the guide. The list is a compilation which includes summaries of each restaurant’s strengths, prices, locations and atmosphere.
