VANCOUVER — At a time when speed is valued most, TheVancouver Sun hopes to help time-strapped home cooks prepare good-tasting, complete meals in 20 minutes — with the help of some local chefs.

“It’s all about planning,” David Wong, executive chef at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, told The Sun. “If you plan, the execution will be fast.”

Many top chefs are involved. For example, Wong walks viewers through instructions on how to make an Albacore tuna salad, Market by Jean-Georges’ executive chef Wayne Harris creates a carrot and avocado salad and Refuel chef Robert Belcham makes a steak.
