VANCOUVER — The Green Table Network (GTN) B.C. restaurant certification system, in partnership with Surety Group, is preparing to relaunch across Canada, according to The Vancouver Sun.
GTN originally launched in 2007 but had to charge higher fees for its services during the recession. “It was a labour intensive process and we had to charge for that,” he said.
“It was beyond what most restaurants were ready to invest in this,’” said Green Table founder Andre LaRiviere as quoted by The Vancouver Sun. With the new national relaunch, the company plans to offer lower fees and more web-based services.
According to the paper the program is to be relaunched in Ontario in April.
