VANCOUVER — CinCin is preparing to host a winemaker’s dinner, pairing harvest-inspired dishes with B.C.-based Osoyoos Larose’s wines, on Nov. 25.

The meal is a highlight of the Vancouver restaurant’s annual Mushroom and Truffle Festival, dubbed Festa di Funghi, and it will include a multi-course meal created to highlight the humble mushroom and accompanying wine.

The meal will be complimented with a special presentation. “Osoyoos Larose’s winemaker and vineyard manager, Pascal Madevon, will guide guests through a descriptive evening showcasing its portfolio of Bordeaux-inspired reds, as well as a personally selected sparkling and white wine,” reads the press release.

Capping the night off, guests will be privy to a tasting of Osoyoos’s yet-to-be-released 2009 vintage of its flagship wine, Le Grand Vin.

The evening, which begins at 6:30 p.m., will cost $109 per person for a meal that will include ravioli of oxtail, kuri squash purée and shaved Alba truffles with Petals D’Osoyoos 2007 and Alderwood grilled ribeye, pulled short rib and horseradish gnocchi with Le Grand Vin 2007.
