VANCOUVER — Vancouver’s Shangri-la hotel is launching a monthly farmers’ market in September, following a successful inaugural Farmer’s Market in June on the patio of Market by Jean-Georges.
Working with Vancouver Farmers’ Markets, vendors will showcase organic vegetables, fresh fruit, home-baked breads and pastries, seafood and sausages as well as jellies and jams.
The market will feature food and wine samples and live music; it will run Sundays on July 28, Aug. 26 and Sept. 23.
Market by Jean-Georges is the hotel’s signature restaurant, offering four distinct dining atmospheres with an emphasis on fresh local seafood.
