TORONTO— Wahlburgers, a casual burger restaurant founded by actors Mark and Donnie Wahlberg and their chef brother, Paul, is now open in Toronto’s SoHo Metropolitan Hotel.

“My brothers and I are thrilled to open our first franchise and first Canadian location” said Paul Wahlberg, executive chef, Wahlburgers. “Building a restaurant that people love to go to is our true mission. We’ve worked closely with the Toronto team to reach our goal and that’s to have a place that is all about good food and great service.”

The menu features locally sourced, house-made ingredients. Menu highlights include The Thanksgiving Burger ($9.95) made with seasoned turkey, dressed with Paul’s orange cranberry sauce, homemade roasted butternut squash and stuffing and The BBQ Bacon Burger ($9.95), topped with white cheddar cheese, bacon, avocado, jalapeños and a house-made barbecue sauce. The 120-seat restaurant also offers various sandwiches and salads. Starting in December, Wahlburgers will offer Canadian-themed dishes as part of the ‘burger of the month’ program.

Wahlburgers Canada is a collaboration of the Wahlbergs with Bruce Greenberg, president of Starwood Group; Michael Wekerle, executive chairman of Difference Capital; and Henry Wu, president of Metropolitan Hotels.
