We Care Hockey Tournament Raises $22,000

VAUGHAN, Ont. — The numbers have been tabulated, and it’s official. The Friends of We Care Canadian Foodservice Hockey Cup, held last week in Vaughan, Ont., raised more than $22,000 to help send Easter Seal children to camp.

Fourteen teams comprised of more than 250 hockey players from the foodservice industry battled it out, with The Danone Canada team capturing the “A” Division Cup and Kraft Canada earning the “B” Division Cup.

The next event on the charity organization’s calendar is The Swing Into Spring We Care Ball set for April 16 in Alberta.
