OAKVILLE, Ont. — Wendy’s is stepping up its game, introducing three new chef-inspired salads nationwide.
The offerings, which are inspired by the tastes typically found in full-service dining, include Asian Cashew Chicken Salad, BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad and Taco Supremo Salad. “Our new premium salads feature innovative flavour profiles inspired by contemporary culinary trends and include the highest quality ingredients, made fresh every day,” said Lisa Deletroz, director of Marketing for Wendy’s Restaurants of Canada. “Our Canadian line of salads was both researched and tested in Canada.”
The salad options feature ingredients such as Applewood-smoked bacon, buttermilk, ancho chili pepper, fire-roasted edamame, spicy roasted cashews and 11 types of field greens. The Asian Cashew Chicken is 370 calories.
The new menu items are available in full-size (recommended price $8.49), half size (recommended price $4.99) and the Pair 2 option, which offers customers the chance to make food combos (recommended price $6.49).
