BURLINGTON, Ont. — Wendy’s has rolled out a new franchise recruitment initiative, Own Your Opportunity, to expand the brand’s presence throughout Quebec. The initiative creates pathways for entrepreneurs who want to grow and profit from becoming a Wendy’s franchisee and supports the company’s goal of increasing ownership in the province.
To support this initiative, Wendy’s has created more competitive liquidity and net-worth requirements for all new franchise applicants; introduced a new global restaurant-design standard; created a Build-to-Suit development fund to fuel growth in under-developed trade areas; opened more than 400 restaurants in Canada; and launched breakfast in Canada earlier this year, creating growth potential for franchise owners.
