TORONTO — Wendy’s is bringing its Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger to Canada July 8.
“Wendy’s knows food trends. We tapped into consumers’ love of pretzels and transformed the iconic snack into an artisan-crafted cheeseburger,” said Lisa Deletroz, marketing director at Wendy’s Canada.
“We constantly search for foods that customers crave, and we’sve created the ultimate combination of flavours — pretzels, bacon and cheeseburgers — to deliver new standards of quality and taste.”
The pub-style cheeseburger is served on an artisan-baked, authentic pretzel bun with a spring mix of nine greens, tomatoes, beef, Applewood-smoked bacon, cheddar cheese sauce as well as Sweet and Smoky Honey Mustard. The burger, which is said to have performed well in test markets, will be sold for approximately $5.99.
