TORONTO — Kate Burnham, a former pastry chef at Weslodge restaurant, has filed an application to Ontario’s Human Rights Tribunal, alleging sexual harassment at the Toronto-based eatery, reports the Toronto Star.

Between July 2012 and January 2014, Burnham was allegedly sexually harassed and touched without consent by three of her former bosses and is now seeking $225,000 in damages and apologies from each.

Weslodge restaurant, owned by Ink Entertainment and Icon Legacy Hospitality, emailed a statement to the Toronto Star stating that they are “committed to providing a safe work environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.”

Burnham filed with the tribunal nine months after quitting. The allegations have not been proven, and the principals involved deny the allegations. [thestar.com]
