VANCOUVER — Jeremy Charles, Marc Lepine and Mourad Lahlou are the main draw of a guest chef series being introduced at Vancouver’s West restaurant, beginning Aug. 28.

The restaurant’s guest chef series is a chance for guests to experience different kinds of culinary talent. “We’re tremendously excited to welcome three outstanding chefs to West. They’re truly some of the finest talents on the continent,” said Quang Dang, the restaurant’s executive chef.

Charles will travel from his acclaimed Newfoundland restaurant Raymonds on Aug. 28. An ‘East Meets West’ menu ($175), created by Charles and Dang, will feature favourite ingredients from both Canadian coasts. Lepine will join Dang Oct. 2 to create a seven-course dinner ($125), which will challenge both chefs to create alternating courses. Finally, Dang will welcome Lahlou, executive chef at the Michelin-starred Aziza restaurant in San Francisco on Nov. 11, when the pair will present a seven-course menu ($195) inspired by Lahlou’s personal recipes.
