TORONTO — Pradeep Batra is the new executive chef of The Westin Prince Toronto.
The 19-year culinary veteran specializes in Californian, South West American, Canadian, Indian, Arabian, Mediterranean and Asian cuisines. “We are all delighted that chef Batra has joined the team at The Westin Prince,” said Ashok Baghel, GM of The Westin Prince.
“He brings a wealth of hospitality experience to this role, and we know his creative menus, inspired by his local and global experiences, will help to recharge and renew our guests, whether at the hotel restaurant or a catered signature event or meeting.”
Batra began his career in India before immigrating to Canada in 1994. He has held positions at The Westin Calgary, The Westin Mission Hills Resort & Hotel in Rancho Mirage, Calif., the Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire, and The Westin Waltham Boston hotel, where he was executive chef for the past seven years.
