Where Names New Best Restos of 2011

TORONO — Where Canada has released its picks for the best new Canadian restaurants of 2011.

One restaurant was chosen from each region. The list included Toronto’s Acadia where, “chef Matt Blondin delivers seasonal sea- and soul-food dishes in a space that’s evocative of an old, oceanside cottage,” Calgary’s Ox and Angela with regional dishes from Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Peru and Brazil; and Edmonton’s Corso 32 with simple Italian food created by chef and owner Daniel Costa.
