VANCOUVER — B.C.-based White Spot has launched a selection of menu items featuring Beyond Meat’s Beyond Burger patty.
“We take pride in having something on our menu for everyone and our new Beyond Meat menu items are an example of how our brand continues to respond to changing demographics, taste profiles and menu trends,” says Warren Erhart, president, White Spot.
Available at all full-service White Spot restaurants in B.C. and Alberta starting today, the four-ounce Beyond Meat patty will be showcased in the new Avocado Beyond Burger. The burger features fresh avocado, pickled onions, roasted corn, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeño ranch and edamame hummus and is served with choice of Caesar salad, The Spot’s salad, or creamy coleslaw and ‘endless’ signature Kennebec fries.
The Beyond Burger patty will also be featured as part of White Spot’s new Southwest Power Bowl, which features fresh avocado, cherry tomatoes, radish, roasted corn and cabbage, served with quinoa and jasmine rice, greens, jalapeño ranch and edamame hummus.
Both the Avocado Beyond Burger and Southwest Power Bowl can also be made vegan with modifications. Guests can also substitute the Beyond Burger patty in any of White Spot’s signature burgers for only $1.99. White Spot also offers gluten-friendly, such as lettuce wraps and gluten-free buns.
Beginning Monday, May 6, the Beyond Burger patty will also be available at White Spot’s quick-service brand Triple O’s in a new Beyond Original signature burger as well as a limited-edition Mushroom Avocado Beyond Burger.
