White Spot Launches New Celebrate B.C. Menu

White Spot

VANCOUVER — White Spot is celebrating its tradition of supporting local by introducing a new Celebrate B.C. menu across locations province-wide until September 4.

White Spot’s local ingredients include butter lettuce, 100-per-cent Canadian beef, B.C. chicken breast, locally baked artisan-style buns, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, blueberries and many more. New menu items include the B.C. Brie & Bacon BBQ Chicken Burger, Steelhead Florentine and the B.C. Blueberry Pie.

“The history of White Spot is intrinsically linked to B.C., and it all started with a man and his truck,” says Warren Erhart, president, White Spot Restaurants. “For more than nine decades, White Spot has proudly supported local growers. We take great pride in the long-standing relationships we’ve formed, including some that date back to a handshake with Nat Bailey and continue to this day — like our partnership with the Guichon family of Felix Farms in Delta who have been supplying White Spot with potatoes for our Kennebec fries since 1938.”

“The variety, quality, and freshness of B.C. ingredients are at their peak this time of year,” says executive chef James Kennedy. “It made it such a joy for the culinary team and [me] to create the food for this new menu.”

In addition to B.C., White Spot also has locations in Alberta and Ontario.
