VANCOUVER — White Spot Restaurant has announced the launch of a new brand platform that’s centred around the concept of home.

“Our marketing emphasis over the past several years has been on the continuously evolving menu and raising awareness for our industry-recognized Red Seal Chef apprenticeship and certification program,” said Cathy Tostenson, the chain’s vice-president of Marketing and Menu Development.

“The next chapter will continue to highlight our fresh and diverse menu offerings, while putting the spotlight on the guest experience and the many qualities that make White Spot feel like home.”

The new platform will be heralded with the new tagline, “Home to great taste…since 1928.”

Meanwhile, over the past two years, the company has opened five full-service franchised restaurants, eight Triple O’s quick-service locations in B.C. and three in Asia. It has also built a 1,548-square-foot culinary centre at its Vancouver head office and launched a 30-foot mobile restaurant branded Triple O’s On The Go. Moving forward, White Spot has signed an agreement to open 16 Triple O sites in China.
