GUELPH, Ont. — Shelley Krieger, the owner of two Red Brick Café units in Guelph, Ont. is hosting a contest to find a new owner for the Westmount Rd. location.
On top of a $200 entry fee, entrants are required to submit a short essay or video explaining why they are the right person for the job. The top 20 finalists will be interviewed by an impartial panel of judges, who will choose the winner.
“This is an opportunity of a lifetime,” says Jessica Brozovic, general manager at Red Brick Café. “There are similar contests out there, but they are based purely on luck. What Shelley is doing is giving a bright, hardworking person all of the tools they need to succeed in business and take charge of their own future.”
