VANCOUVER — Toptable Group’s restaurants were recognized by Wine Spectator’s annual Restaurant Awards.
The company’s restaurants in Vancouver and Whistler, B.C. — including newcomers, Elisa and Il Caminetto — were awarded the Best of Award of Excellence.
The Best of Award of Excellence is the second of three award levels (Award of Excellence, Best of Award of Excellence and Grand Award) and recognizes restaurants with wine lists that display excellent breadth across multiple winegrowing regions and/or significant vertical depth of top producers, along with superior presentation.
Toptable’s restaurants are no strangers to the awards, with most being recognized with the Best of Award of Excellence designation for several consecutive years — Araxi Restaurant + Oyster Bar and West Restaurant + Bar have held the designation since 2000 and 2003 respectively. CinCin Ristorante + Bar and Blue Water Cafe + Raw Bar have each held the designation since 2016.
