CALGARY — Chef Yann Blanchard has become the first Canadian member of Relais Desserts, according to CBC News.
The Calgary-based pastry chef earned the exclusive distinction after travelling to France to demonstrate his skills to international Relais Desserts members.
Blanchard owns Yann Haute Patisserie, which focuses on French pastries, baguettes, croissants and elegant cakes.
