SAN FRANCISCO — Yelp has released the 2019 edition of its Top 100 Places to Eat in Canada list, which honours eateries with top ranking among the Yelp community — running the gamut of dining experiences across the country.
Ontario-based businesses made up the bulk of the list, with 38 restaurants featured, followed by Quebec (29), B.C. (17) and Alberta (12).
Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat in Canada 2019 include:

- Damas – Montreal
- Weinkeller – Niagara Falls, Ont.
- Buvette Scott – Quebec City
- L’Avenue – Montreal
- Baretto Caffe – Toronto
- Ten Foot Henry – Calgary
- Steve’s Poke Bar – Surrey, B.C.
- Clementine – Winnipeg
- Le Robin Square– Montreal
Featured businesses were determined based on Yelp reviews, taking into consideration both the rating and the volume of the reviews, while accounting for the overall volume of reviews in each business’s area. For restaurants with multiple locations, only the highest-ranked location was considered for the list.
