TORONTO — Yours Truly, helmed by chef Jeff Claudio, recently opened in Toronto’s Ossington community, and it’s already the talk of town.
The daily four-course prix fixe menu ($45 for meat, $35 for vegetarian), inspired by ingredient availability, includes items such as duck with yams, oats and sour cherries; and gnocchi, with seaweed, shallots, and horseradish.
Also available is a menu of Asian-inspired bar snacks, including salt cod ($6), deviled eggs ($5) and pork ssam ($7). A drink list by bar manager Shane Roberts includes house specialties such as Winter Batida with cachaca, fresh lime, persimmon and sumac ($11).
The restaurant features a repurposed design with warm copper-pendant lightshades and custom-made lacquered concrete tables.
According to Toronto Life, the 38-seat restaurant will expand to seat 52 by February.
