Brands, parent company of KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, has announced the launch of its annual World Hunger Relief effort, which includes a public service announcement from singing sensation Christina Aguilera.“With nearly one-billion people going hungry around the world as well as the desperate situation in the Horn of Africa, we need to help find a solution to this critical issue,” said David Novak, chairman and CEO, Yum!.

World Hunger Relief is the world’s largest private-sector hunger relief effort, spanning 110 countries, 38,000 KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurants and involving more than 1-million employees and franchise associates. The campaign raises awareness, volunteerism and funds for the UN’s World Food Programme (WFP) and other hunger relief agencies.
