CHICAGO — The Cicerone Certification Program has hired Ontario-based Beer Sisters Inc. to represent the program in Canada.
Founded by Advanced Cicerone Crystal Luxmore and Certified Cicerone Tara Luxmore, both will represent and market the program across Canada and act as the first point of contact for Canadian beer professionals wishing to progress through the program.
“Canadians have been taking Cicerone exams since our launch in 2008 and support for the program continues to grow,” says Ray Daniels, founder and director of Cicerone. “The Beer Sisters will help to sustain that momentum while improving our support for Canadian beverage professionals.”
The roll-out of the Canadian program will include the launch of a bi-monthly e-newsletter for Canadians, BeerSavvy Bootcamps and Off-Flavour Training Classes in major cities, representation at major brewing conferences, including the Alberta Craft Brewers’ Convention and the Canadian Brewing Awards & Conference in Halifax.
