TORONTO – The Canadian Hospitality Foundation (CHF) has launched the Kosta Tomazos Hospitality Scholarship. Tomazos, president of Toronto-based CK Atlantis Hotel Management, passed away suddenly in January 2016 at the age of 57 and many industry leaders have donated generously to fund the scholarship in his honour.

“Kosta was a very kind and generous man who mentored and coached the people he encountered throughout his far too short life,” says a CHF release. “He offered his loyal friendship and always made the effort to stay in touch.

An endowment fund of $53,000, which will be administered by the Canadian Hospitality Foundation, has been established in order to generate a scholarship annually to a worthy hospitality student.
