Cold Brew Startup Builds Canada’s First Coffee Brewery

TORONTO — Station Cold Brew has opened Canada’s first coffee brewery, becoming the largest cold brew coffee company in Canada.

The company built the facility to accommodate the increased demand and will allow the startup to scale production, develop new recipes and open a small retail bottle shop.

“The beverage industry is in transition. Educated consumers are more conscious about what they put in their body, which is driving the change,” said Steve Ballantyne, founder of Station Cold Brew. “Our customers — like many Canadians — are looking for beverages that are all-natural and taste great. From our brewery, we can do our part to serve the growing demand for these types of products.”

Station is available in five formats: 12.6 oz. stubby, 32 oz. concentrate, 5L bag in a box, 64 oz. growler and as a 30L keg.
