PEI International Shellfish Festival

Prince Edward Island International Shellfish Festival is Canada’s largest festival in honour of shellfish and will celebrate 23 years as it returns to downtown Charlottetown.  The festival showcases the island’s renowned shellfish of mussels, oysters, and lobster, and provides chefs and shuckers alike with the unique opportunity to display their impressive culinary skills and engage with audiences.

The jam-packed schedule of events includes culinary competitions, like cooking demos, plenty of feasting, and roof-raising parties with some of Canada’s favourite bands.  Celebrity chefs Lynn Crawford and Michael Smith will host the festivities.
