TORONTO — Mississauga, Ont.-based Extreme Pita is ready for spring and has launched a new advertising campaign to support the brand’s new limited-time Spring Fever pita.
“We’re excited to shed the winter comfort food and welcome spring with a variety of light, healthy ingredients” said Nancy Cogger, director of Marketing at Extreme Pita.
The Spring Fever pita is supported by radio, out-of-home transit and in-store point-of-purchase advertising across Canada. The campaign was created by the Toronto-based Adlib Group. “The personality of the Extreme Pita brand is perfectly suited to radio. It allowed us to create an engaging, humourous spot while profiling the fresh, fun new Spring Fever pita,” said David Brouitt, creative director, The Adlib Group.
The radio commercial hits the air this week and will run throughout spring.
Extreme Pita opened its first location in 1997. Since then, the brand has grown to more than 225 stores across North America. In 2011, Extreme Brands won Kostuch Media’s Company of the Year Pinnacle Award.
