BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — The Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Fatburger has turned the idea of a specialty burger on its head, with the introduction of its “Skinny Burger,” reports CNBC.
The no-carb and no-bun burger sandwiches condiments between a 1/3-pound patty cut in half. “This is a 320-calorie burger,” Andrew Wiederhor, CEO, is quoted as saying by CNBC. That amounts to 270 calories less than a medium Fatburger.
According to CNBC, Wiederhor said the Skinny Burgers account for 10 per cent of company sales. [cnbc.com]
