TORONTO — More than 30 food trucks gathered on Stouffville, Ont.’s Main Street last night for what organizer Anna Rose, Whitchurch-Stouffville’s downtown coordinator, is touting as “the largest food truck festival in Ontario.” The second Food Truck Frenzy event to be held in the town this summer saw about 17,000 people turn out to sample everything from fried mac and cheese to octopus tacos and everything in between.

Familiar names like Fidel Gastro’s, Burgatory, Road Grill and Blazin Cajun were joined by local merchants and community groups serving up great food and live music for the masses. Hungry foodies lined the street as early as 5 p.m. — a full 30 minutes before the event even began.
