OAKVILLE, Ont. — Cold Stone Creamery ice cream will now be served at drive-thrus of 100 co-branded Tim Hortons and Cold Stone Creamery restaurants across Canada.
“More than half of Tim Hortons’s guests use the convenience of a drive-thru every day. Now, those guests on-the-go can also pick up some Cold Stone Creamery ice cream,” said Nick Javor, senior vice-president, Tim Hortons.
Meanwhile, Tim Hortons has become a topic for ongoing debate in Saskatoon, when one city councillor proposed a drive-thru ban, stemming from traffic congestion and safety concerns around two busy Tim Hortons restaurants in the city. The issue was originally brought up at a national transportation engineering conference last year. Currently, a report is looking into whether the ban would be effective.
